A computer is machine that receives input, stores, process, manipulates and provides the desired result or output in a useful format.The computer can tend to be made out of anything, and mechanical examples of computers have existed through much recorded human history, first computer was developed in the mid-20th century(1940–1945). In the beggining the used to be in large in size. one computer used to occupy a space of whole room. they used to consume much power. But now, modern computers with integrated circuits are millions to billions times more capable to work faster than those old ones. they occupy small space. Simple computers are small enough to fit inti the mobile devices. Personal computers in the various forms are what people think of computers nowadays.

Computers have their own function. It has got different devices in it. CPU is considered as the brain of the computer.Computer which is limited in function cannot simulate arbitary things. A simple computer cannot simulate the function of the real computer without human intervention.Without the ability to program , it can never accomplish what a programmable calculator from the 1990s could;the system as a whole is not Turing-complete, even though it contains a Turing-complete component.
